Collaboration and support for OTs, PTs, BCBAs, and RBTs

Collaboration was at the forefront of our mind when we launched Where Language Blooms and is one of the most important parts of supporting children who see a variety of related health professionals.

For speech therapy services where we are providing services directly in your child’s ABA clinic, consultation and collaboration with your child’s BCBA and RBT(s) are a natural part of the process. This may look like:

  • Co-treating with your child’s BCBA or RBT, as available.

  • Check-ins with your child’s BCBA or RBT(s) following session, with strategies to support carryover of speech and language skills.

  • Receiving feedback from your child’s BCBA/RBT about ongoing changes to your child’s behavior or treatment plan, with collaboration on next steps, as appropriate.

Our speech therapist has years of experiencing collaborating with other disciplines, providing coaching to RBTs, and co-treating with other clinicians. We value these collaborative experiences and recognize the value in multiple clinicians seeing a child through different lenses.
